About us
New Haven Korean Church English Ministry is dedicated to showing the radical hospitality of Jesus Christ. We welcome any persons regardless of age and race. All are welcome to worship and families are welcome. Our goal is to integrate ourselves more fully into the broader body of Christ. To that effect, we hope to utilize the community's gifts and skills given to us by god to strengthen the body. Through sharing life with one another, we seek to be more loving, vulnerable, and accountable to one another.
Peter Hwang
Pastor
Reverend Peter Hwang is a graduate of Cornell University (B.A.,1991), Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (M.Div.,1994), New York University College of Dentistry (D.D.S.,1998), and Westminster Theological Seminary (Th.M., 2017).
In 2002, Pastor Hwang was ordained by the Eastern New York Presbytery of the Korean American Presbyterian Church. Since1994, Pastor Hwang has been happily married to his wife, Soo.
